Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir – Margaret Markland Choral Bursary
Would you like to sing with the prestigious Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir?
Auditions with the musical director of YPC will be held on Wednesday 19th April in Room 411, from which 3 successful students will be selected to receive the Bursary. Sign up for an auditions HERE
WHAT IS REQUIRED …
- Two terms membership of the YPC based in Wakefield
- Attend 2 hour professionally led choir rehearsal each Tuesday evening in Wakefield
- Sing in 3 choral concerts (with an optional 4th) with the choir & professional musicians in Wakefield Cathedral.
- Possible option of singing at events as the smaller Yorkshire Chamber Choir
WHAT YOU RECEIVE …
- Up to £1000 Bursary for the year (£450 in Autumn & Spring terms with an optional £100 extension into the summer term)
- Choral experience with a premier choir in the North
- Choral training in rehearsal & possible solo opportunities
