Accessible Pricing from Opera North
Opera North is delighted to be offering 100 tickets per performance at Leeds Grand Theatre either free or at great prices for younger audiences and new opera goers as part of the Under 30s and Try it ON membership schemes. If you’re eligible, sign up to these membership schemes now so you can book for their new season of opera and gigs starting in October!
Under 30 Scheme
Become an Under 30 member for free and get £10 tickets for Opera North productions plus additional discounts for their Howard Assembly Room events and Kirklees Concert Season. As an Under 30 member you’ll receive invitations to members-only events and exclusive food and drink offers at a selection of venues in Leeds.

£10 tickets to the opera at Leeds Grand Theatre
£4 tickets to concerts at Huddersfield Town Hall as part of the Kirklees Concert Season
£3 off tickets at the Howard Assembly Room plus some freebies and special offers

Eligibility: 16-29 years old or in full-time education
How to book:
- Sign up to the Under 30 scheme
- Log into your U30 account, choose the performance you would like to attend. All available U30 seats will be identified by a star (for Leeds Grand Theatre).
- Once you’ve selected your tickets the discounts will automatically apply at the checkout stage.

16-20 years old
35 free tickets are now available per performance for young independent opera goers as part of Opera North’s opera season at Leeds Grand Theatre. If you are between 16-20 years old, you can choose up to 2 tickets per production from selected seats across the whole theatre. Tickets are limited but once they’re gone, the usual £10 tickets will apply. Make sure to include your date of birth on your account when you sign up so you can access these great offers.

- Once you’ve signed up to our Under 30 scheme, log into your account and update your date of birth (this is essential for the offer to be applied).
- Choose the performance you would like to attend and all available seats will be identified by a star.

Under 16s
If you are under 16, £1 tickets are available at Kirklees Concert Season events. You can book online or with the Opera North Box Office.

Eligibility: Under 16 years old
Try it ON
New to opera? Try opera today for £20 as your very first Opera North booking in Leeds with a Try it ON membership. You can sit in some of the best seats in the theatre with savings of up to £35 and enjoy exclusive pre-show content and a goodie bag on the night!
Price: £20
Limit: 2 tickets
Eligibility: New customers to Opera North who have not previously booked a ticket for any of their opera productions.
How to book:
- Sign up to the Try it ON scheme and wait for a confirmation email (this can take up to 24 hours whilst your account is double checked).
- Log into your account and choose the performance you would like to attend
- All available Try it ON seats will be identified by a star and are located in the stalls.
- Once you’ve selected your tickets the discounts will automatically apply at the checkout stage.
