Here is information about what support is available over the Christmas Vacation and into the January assessment period:
Need help with Space, myPortfolio or Panopto?
- Visit the Help pages on Space. There are help resources for everything you need to do to upload or create your assignments on Space, myPortfolio and Panopto. You can also access links to help resources specific to creating your assignment in the Assignment Support section on your module pages.
- If you are unable to resolve your problem after examining the help resources, email space@lcm.ac.uk. This email address will be monitored until the end of Friday 23rd December. All enquires after this date will be responded to as soon as possible on Tuesday 3rd January.
- Digital Support Drop In sessions will resume on Tuesday 3rd January, and will be on daily throughout the assessment period. Digital Support Drop Ins are dedicated times when students can get support with the conservatoire systems and other digital skills from a DigiMentor and/or member of the TEL team. They are held in person and online with the all the dates, times and locations available on the Drop In page on Space.
Need support with academic writing, referencing or other skills for learning?
- In person Skills for Learning drop-ins will resume on Wednesday 4th January, and will run at various times throughout the week during the assessment period. Skills for Learning drop-ins are 30-minute 1-1 sessions with an academic tutor to help with academic writing, reviewing work, referencing or organisation.
- Visit the Skills for Learning page via the Help menu on Space to find more information, book in a session or to find resources to help with academic work. Alternatively come along to room 401 St Peters Square during a drop-in time to see if there is availability or email skillsforlearning@leedsconservatoire.ac.uk. This email address will be monitored until the end of Wednesday 21st December. All enquires after this date will be responded to as soon as possible on Tuesday 3rd January.
- If you receive DSA Study Skills support, you can attend Skills for Learning sessions in addition to your specialist support. However, please ensure that you continue to access your specialist study skills support as instructed in the email you will have received from the Disability Team.

The Assignment Guidelines can answer most assignment quandaries; access it online or pick up a copy in St. Peter’s Square Reception until Friday 23rd December, or in various location on-campus in January.
